We swapped the engine out of my 86 Ranger due to a cracked block. The replacement was running, as was the original.
Fuel lines are properly connected, fuel pump does NOT get power even after the impact safety switch was bypassed. We ran lines out to direct power and get fuel pump working...
I've got an '86 Gen 1 I'm putting back on the road. It's 4WD, came with a shelled out 2.9L that I'm swapping out for a 4.0. I kinda like the digital dash look, anybody swap out an Explorer/Bronco/Aerostar digital dash for the stock Gen 1 dash?
