OK title explains it all.... I have a 95 ranger XLT 4x4 4.0 V6 4spd manual w/OD and I'm not sure what year Mountaineer it is because I haven't laid eyes on it, but it has the 302 and it is the full engine with wiring harness and ECU, so I guess my question is will that 302 mate with my 4 Speed...

I'm sure I am about to get destroyed for this question both due to the fact that I am a mechanic and have been dealing with Rangers for quite some time but here goes..... Will the lifters from a 3.0 work in a 4.0?
