I've got a 98 ranger 3.0 5spd 2wd. Can i use a 92 3.0 out of a topaz? Why and or what mods do I need.

I saw a 93 f150 for sale on Facebook. The ad said it had a 3.0 v6 in it. I thought this has to be wrong or he swapped swapped it in. Is this possible? Or is it too much work.

I found a 3.0 topaz engine. It has a distributor. What block Orr intake differences would I run into using this engine in a 95 up with a coil pack. Is the dist hole covered up by the newer lower intakes?
