I'm looking at tires for my B3000, looking at BFG 265/70r-15 Long Trail T/A's or 255/70r-15 Radial T/A's(same as the ones that my dad put on it when the truck was his and are on it now) for a primarily street truck that the most off-roading it sees is some dirt or grass. The price difference is only a dollar per tire lol

I need some opinions.....

Which Long Trail T/A? The Radial Long Trail T/A is a good all around tire that will do well all around but the Long Trail T/A Tour is more of a street tire and wont do as well off road as the Radial Long Trail T/A. The Radial T/A would split the difference and is probably the best tire to run, if you have them on there now and like them then I wouldn't hesitate to put another set on.

Looks like the Long Trail in that size is the Tour tire and looks very streetish, either one would probably give you decent mileage but I would say the Radial T/A would give you better traction off road when you do though.

I would get the FIRESTONE DESTINATION A/T -50000 MILES of smooth quite operation. I had them on my cherokee and loved them-more than a few guys on here run them. If they seem too agressive try the DESTINATION L/E 60000 MILE SUV tire-Firestone wants your tire business CALL THEM AND MAKE THEM PROVE IT!

I actually ended up getting neither. I ended up getting a private label tire. Hercules HP 4000. They ride so quiet and look great. I'll post some pics in a new thread.
