Just as the title says, what are the two fittings that fit the fuel rail and regulator on the 2.9? The two braided line on mine went bad trying to get them removed.

Ford made their own high pressure connector for the fuel and AC systems. You can only buy the male ends new.

Dorman 800-130 & 800-131

LMR LRS-9964B-K has the female fittings as a kit but this is the only place I have seen them

That's good to know, I was thinking about making that side, but maybe I'll just buy those. But I was wondering about the side that threads into the regulator and the metal tube coming off the fuel rail.

That is something I can't figure out at the moment. Its something like a M14 with a weird taper that no one makes iirc

So, both of the quick connect ends are available in -6AN fittings. Male and female in both sizes. I don’t have part numbers handy though.

The tapered threaded fittings at the rail I’ve been meaning to try and figure out a solution for but I’ve been so backed up and blown out on projects and problems this year that I haven’t had time to mess with it.

I am going to say this, if the braided lines at the rail are bad, what is the condition of the rest of the fuel lines? I just replaced all of the fuel lines up to the braided ones at the rail in my Choptop because the braided lines were fine but there was about 6 leaks in the factory nylon lines…
