Half a small onion run over the zest grater... makes it like onion juice really. Then goes into the homemade dressing.

Nothing special. My first fresh corn of the season and a lean hamburger steak with reaper hot sauce. There are 2 more ears of corn in the pot. I won't go hungry.

It's June. Even in northeastern PA we started getting fresh corn around mid-June. Always had it for July 4th.

The local grown corn starts showing up in mid to late July here.

I just bought some yesterday from the store... but it's not the good stuff grown local.

Salmon and saffron rice with broccoli.

Goober knows it's salmon night... he gets the salmon skin.
