For Sale (Updated 02/16) ‘89 4x4 Manual Ranger XLT, 2.9L with rooftop tent

Located in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, between Salem and Eugene. $5800 or best offer

1989 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with M5OD-R1 manual transmission, 2.9L V6, ~197700 miles. Smittybilt XL rooftop tent (can sell separately and lower price of truck if not wanted)

Runs, drives, shifts.

- 6-inch Skyjacker lift (was told Skyjacker when I bought the truck)
- New rear brakes, Nov 2025
- New steering components (inner & outer tie rods, pitman arm), Feb 2026
- Light bar and extra rear lights
- The frame/underneath is in solid shape
- Clean, comfortable, adjustable bucket seats (put seat covers on after I gave them a deep clean)


Known issues: Driver side seatbelt doesn't retract, speedometer seems to only work at higher speeds, no stereo, no AC compressor, slow oil seep from somewhere, rear abs light on.

Thanks to all the contributors on these forums, has helped me a lot with diagnosing and fixing things (despite the above list, I have been improving things I promise). Let me know if I’m way off base from a fair price
