Transfercase

I have a 1988 ford ranger 2.9L 4x4 xlt with electric touch transfer case. Found a parts truck 1984 ford ranger 4x4 with 4 cylinder with manual transfercase. Will this transfercase bolt up to my manual transmission? My electric transfer won't go to high only low range and would really rather have a manual anyways.

Should work fine. Make sure all the linkages and shifter arms are there.

It will bolt up but there's a chance you might have to screw with the shift linkage, back in those days they had different links on the T case for the different transmissions, slightly different clocking if I remember right... worth picking up as it should bolt up otherwise...
