For anyone who has gotten rid of
A4ld auto and put a 5 speed in.
would yall happen to know what size bolts used for flywheel and what size for clutch cover/pressure plate?
for a 1994 (guessing since that is your profile) the 3.0L takes ford p/n E1FZ-6379-A (fits 1998-2008 both straight gas and flex fuel).... I know that doesn't answer the size, but it is the info I can find without tearing a truck down and measuring by hand... could ask Ford service dept or lookup on parts geek, rock auto, etc what the specification is.
If you need a different engine, might tell us which... if you need for a specific trans / clutch combo might tell us which of the manuals it is ESPECIALLY if it isn't one of the Ranger ones and you put in a F-series or some other swap that might make it different.
thank you for quick reply, my bad for not giving more info.
2.3 L4 engine. bought a clutch kit from Rock Auto , they do not offer bolt kit.
just though if anyone else did the conversion they probably had to gather bolts
also.Reguards
for 94 2.3L, advanced auto sells p/n ZX-1026, googling that part number I found ATP is the mfg, and cardid also carries it, they list it as a M10 1.0 x 23mm (head height not specified), I am sure you need a short head since otherwise it will rub on the clutch springs, so still even with that might have to find one and measure it. advanced auto wants $15 for the 6 bolt kit.
(Ford wants $0.75 /ea for the other part number I gave).....
