Toyo Kogyo 4 apeed question

I race an S10 with a 2.3 and the Toyo Kogyo 4 speed trans at my local short track. The shifter is a bit sloppy. Is there a source for a rebuild kit to tighten up the shifter? Thanks.

Unfourtantly no. Allstate gear used to sell a shifter assembly but its been out of stock forever. I doubt itll be back.

Is it a cable set up and if so do you have a place to order the clutch cables? Or have an extra one you’d be willing to let go? I’ve been looking for a year now and also the starter keeps running into the flywheel.

If it came from a Ranger, those used a hydraulic clutch.

As for the sloppy shifter... It's a little late for OP, but I think Core shifters might make one for these transmissions. I seem to recall them listing one for the TK5, and I would imagine that it could be used for the TK4 as well. Never actually compared the two though.
