ok im wonding if u can change timing on a stock 2.8 and if so how? and howwww do u post pics i just got my truck painted and almost all done?

You can change the timing by rotating the distributor. I have found that mine runs best spot on. Mine starts like doo doo if I advance it.

do u have to loosen the bolts on it?

Yea... theres a bolt directly in between the firewall and the dist.
It has a shield like hold down which keeps the dist snug and tight...

So loosen that up a bit until you can rotate the dist. then grab your timing light and set that sucker

If ya don't know what you are doing you might get the bolt too loose and when it starts the dist will spin round n round! It's a bitch to get it back to where it is now after that happens. Be very careful!
