I am looking to get a throttle body spacer for my 98 ranger. I was wondering if anyone new which ones are better than the next. I also adding a cold air intake system.

I would go with NO throttle body spacer. They're a waste of money on your truck. Technically, they'll decrease your throttle response. In reality, they'll make you fast by making your wallet lighter. Your factory airbox is already a cold air intake, the ONLY reason to go with an aftermarket is A) you like the look B) you like the sound C) you want a reuseable filter.

Neither of these modifications will increase power or fuel economy, but they will make people other than you rich.

Real horsepower gains cost money.

Yeh he is right. TB spacers have no positive effect on our motors. It might be a different story with the days of carbs, but our motors mix the air/fuel ratio pretty dead on. Save up for something cool like a bitchin stereo or a lift!

I totally agree, the spacers are a waste of money, AND the aftermarket intakes! As previously posted, the OEM intake is a CAI.
