has anyone tried to use a paxton carb supercharger on a 2.8

Hardly worth it.

If more torque(power) is what you want.......Ford did all the work for you: The 4L Naturally aspirated but a GREAT improvement.

I don't know all the details, but some guys in San Diego did lots of work on blowers and superchargers. They ran, but just weren't worth the effort.
I know this is old school, but: Cubic Inches = power.
I like my 2.8, but if I wanted power cheap, I'd do a 302 - if it's legal where you live.
