This is complicated. First, I was having a problem with my worn out battery cable ends. So I had to finally cut them off and use the standard after market clamps. I bought a "better" mid priced set. They ended up being worthless. The metal was REAL soft, and would not keep connection. After a few starts, they would lose electrical connection, but still be tight! Have to loosen, then retighten. Did this a couple of times, and replaced them with the regular cheap clamps. Has worked fine since. However, the AC had quit! Figuring I needed to reset after all the connect/disconnect episodes, I did a reset. What I found online was: Remove the neg battery clamp, and the climate control blend doors fuse, leave off for 15 minutes. Reinstall the fuse and battery clamp, turn the ignition to on, but not start for 30 seconds, then start the engine. During the 30 seconds, I could hear the blend doors moving under the dash.
AC worked. BUT...the heater has now quit. Blows cold in every position. Hoses are hot, so hot water is getting to the system. I did another reset, the same way, no change. Could hear the blend doors resetting, AC working but still no heat.
One thing tho. I was apparently suppose to remove some other fuses, that I could not find listed in my manual exactly as suggested in my reset instructions. So hopefully, someone here can explain a better reset operation. If needed I can post a picture of my two fuse boxes and the list of each fuses' function.
Thanks
Dean

Sounds like the blend door is stuck. The actual blend door and not the different routing flaps. Gonna have to get in the dash and see. I think you can access it behind the glove box but it’s been awhile since I last messed with one
