I hate single exhaust that exits behind a wheel. I really hate it. I like duals out the back because it looks balanced.
So, step 1 is complete.
Find a place locally who will even do dual exhaust on a new ranger.
Next step will be picking out tips i want.
So they took of the heavy stock muffler and put a smalller magnaflo style stainless muffler in. Its a single 1.5 in and dual 2.25 out. Then each exit goes to the particular side and goes over the axle to come out where they are in the pic.
To me, it looks great amd now i jist have to pick which tips i want to add to it, If i even do. I may leave it as just pipes like i have done on other vehicles.
The new muffler is louder, of course. I knew it would be but i told them i dont want to sound like a 90s honda. It doesnt. You can hear it in the cabin while idling but its not loud. You cant hear it while driving on the highway, which is great
