Welcome Visitor! Please take a few seconds and Hey all, I'm desperate for some help here. My 1993 has had the most annoying and obnoxious creaking noise coming from the steering column for a while now, I've asked around for advice on Facebook and elsewhere and have basically gotten no answer.
This creaking noise happens at all times, Steering in both directions. It sounds like it's coming from right behind the steering wheel, and you can feel it clicking in both the wheel and the brake pedal. I rebuilt my steering system this January, new spindle ball joints l, tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, gearbox, and new rag joints.
I cannot for the life of me find anything online from someone else having this issue. I took it to a professional and they didn't want to tear te column down. Please anyone who might've seen this issue before throw me a bone here, it's driving me crazy.
