Last time I had the truck aligned it still pulled to the right and they told me this was beacause I needed to install a different camber bushing but it was not bad enough to effect the ware of the tires. Just recently I noticed that the steering is binding and it is pulling to the right harder now and if I over steer I can feel it bind and then release and then it will pull to the left. I climbed under the front end last night and had the wife turn the wheel while I inspected and everything seems to be tight so I am not sure why this is happening. With the front end in the air I can still feel the binding just aftering turning the wheel out of the straight postion and when turning the wheel back to the right it will pop. It looks like the universal in the sterring is binding but the joints are all tight.

What else could be causing this??

if everything else is checking out I would look in to the sterring box, and see if someone put to much preload on it.

Would this happen to be a 4x4?
It would be helpful if you include the vehicle your tallking about when asking a question.

I haven't done anything with the preoload for the steering box and this is for a 94 Ranger Supercab 4x4 with a 4.0 and Manual tranny.
