Hi, I need a small piece of sheet metal from cut from someone's junked truck bed. I need to patch a hole in my truck bed. I have a 88 Ranger 7 ft bed. Single cab of it changes anything. I live in Western Massachusetts. But I'll pay to have it shipped to me if need be. Thanks

Might help if you could get a picture of what exactly you need. Good luck!

You're probably aware of patch panels you can buy at many places. If you're not aware...

Thanks guys I'm aware. I'm looking for someone local that has an old truck that they are willing to cut a patch out of.

That's fine, but if someone here (local or not) is going to help they'll still need to know exactly what it is that you need. There are a bunch of different sections and shapes of sheet metal on a bed. One of us might have a bad bed with exactly what you need, but we won't know unless you tell us exactly which piece it is.

Gotta. I need a piece from the upper passenger side of the bed. I'll snap a picture today to help out.

Here go some pics. Thanks

I was hoping that I might be able to help since I still have my wrecked 84. Unfortunately the bed floor is kind of mangled, especially in that area sice that corner of the bed is where it hit the tree.

Good news is it shouldn't matter if it's from a short or long bed, or exactly where in the floor the patch comes from. The crimps/waves are uniform between both and across the bed, except for where the mounting bolts go. IIRC there are patch panels available, but I'm not sure how well they actually match the factory profile.
