Recently went to the junkyard and picked up a good looking instrument cluster out of a wrecked 94 B4000 to put in my regular 94 Ranger. Big problem is the B4000 odometer is at 119K and my Ranger is at 62K. Anyway to roll it back or at least get the faceplate off without destroying it? If not I figure i'll pull the speedo and odom block out of the cluster and put my Ranger one in its place.

After a pain in the butt installation it looks like I will have to inspect the PCB on the rear closer as the check engine light does not want to turn on during startup. All bulbs good so either bad contact or damaged trace.

You can spin the speedometer input with a drill but it will take a very long time to roll over. I imagine there is a way to disassemble the odometer and rearrange the numbers to read your mileage correctly but I have yet to be successful with that - I remember it being very difficult to get them all lined up correctly, the one I did it to years ago had problems getting stuck as it was rotating.
