Looking for pictures and potentially someone to take some measurements of an Fx4 transfer case shifter setup. I have the chrome lever itself, but need to see where it bolts up to the lower arm. Best case would be pull the lever back to 4 low and get a measurement from the bottom mounting hole to the top of the shifter gate or something.

does anyone even have an fx4 with those shifters anymore?

Somebody here posted one just the other day...

I did some digging on the Google and saw a few photos that lead me to believe the whole shifter is offset more inboard as well. Im thinking the offset of the chrome lever may hit my leg with where if I try to attach it to my current setup and potentially no longer work with the Fx4 shift boot bezel

Measuring from the plastic at the bottom of the dash, which is right to the trans shifter. Hope this helps?

I worded this post poorly. I am looking to modify a standard shifter lever to mount the chrome upper section too.

I need this measurement (red line to red line)

I don't have any photos, but I can tell you the factory 02 FX4 manual transfer case shifter does lean out and will hit your leg. I took the shifter lever off shortly after I bought the vehicle new and bent it in a vice so it would not hit my leg. It still functions very well. I don't know why Ford felt it needed to lean out so much.

Ah, I see what you are looking for. I can take the boot off tomorrow and try to get a measure for you.
No need to tear your truck apart on my behalf. I wouldn't want you risk damaging the boot clips. Someone has to have one off a truck somewhere, or I can just wing it honestly
