Does anyone have a part number for the oil filter base/adapter that bolts to the engine block? Mine doesn't seem to want to clean up and I'm afraid that bead blasting it will mess up the machined surfaces. TIA.

Thanks for the link Andy. $100 is a little spendy.....

I may have to see about cleaning up the one I have.

Bead blasting is fine. Just make sure to clean all the bead off afterward. You can even sand down the short turn radius areas for a little better flow.

What ended up working the best: 25% solution of lemon juice & water. I let the adapter soak for about a week and then used a bench grinder with a soft wire wheel. That polished it up nicely.
