i'm new to the forums,i need a plow truck to snowblower continuous headaches, what can i say it's a tecumseh, lol, anyways, the rangers an 85 v6,the problem is it has no spark, the guy says he's replaced the coil, wires, and plugs to no avail.what else needs to be checked that can cause it to stop sparking?

Have you checked to see if there is Power going into the Coil?
If so, have you checked if Spark is coming out of the Coil?
If so, have you checked if Spark is coming out of any given spark plug?

Gotta narrow it down, work backwards from plugs, to wires, to dizzy, to coil and so on.

Welcome to TRS.
The stock ignition system is TFI. The pickup coil (distributor) and TFI module are both prone to failure. Also check the wires going into the coil.
You need to narrow it down a little more. Check for spark at the coil.
This is a 2.8? Carbuated?
