Lug Adapter?

Just got a sweet deal on some 31 inch tires. They came with like new white wagon wheels for only $250 bucks. My problem is that the wheels it had on it were 5x5.5 bolt pattern and my ranger is 5x4.5(as im sure you all know.)

That being said, what is the best lug adapter?

honestly, i've emailed a couple of vendors on ebay for some and none of them had 'em. i have some nice 16 inch spokes that are 5x5.5 and they are just sitting in my shed right now.

Look in the parts section of TRS, I'm pretty sure that Jim is selling them not sure what sizes though... if not I would check out some jeep sites.

Just sell the wheels and get you some that fit especially if your gonna be wheelin.

wow! not cheap. i just went with used ranger aluminum 16" wheels for less. guess i'll just keep my 16" 5x5.5 steel spokes for another time.

Well compared to just about every place in Alaska they are cheaper then hell. they normally run about 150 a pair up here. These are also not something I would skimp on quality if I got them... they hold your wheels on.

thanks guys, I do have a pair of 15x7's in the right bolt pattern i bought from JC whitney. The tires looked good in the dark, but now i see fine cracks everywhere. I re-sold them today for 350, so made 100 bucks. Should be able to buy 1 tire. I have a feelin this build will take me a while financial wise.

take your 350 and get back on craigslist and look for more tires. keep your factory wheels til you find a set without rubber, itll be cheaper this way. Good thing you ditched the 5.5's just find a set in your size. I kept looking over and over again for months, I just picked up a nice nice nice set of 15x8's for 45 bucks in ranger, jeep bolt pattern. Check out the other offroad sites for your area, explorer sites, and JEEP sites, most of their small bolt pattern wheels will fit ours.
