Does anybody know if the lock rite for the 7.5 is still available? And if so, where would I be able to purchase it at? I've searched 4wheelparts and couldn't find it

I found it, but its 400 bucks, I'm gonna look around local scrap yards and see if I can find a ranger with an 8.8 l/s

Looks like he has the 7.5 now and wants to upgrade to the 8.8.

There is locker in the for sale area but its made by Auburn Gear, but it's for a 7.5.

I have the 7.5 right now, but I just remembered I have a spare ring gear in my backyard and its a bigger ratio than the 3.08 that I have now, and I saw somewhere that said the teeth to spline ratio and I forgot where it was but I figure I could either buy or find the opinion to match the ring gear and swap that in and live with that until I find the better rear end

Does anyone know if its even possible to purchase a pinion without a ring gear?

I doubt you can buy one new. They come in matched sets. You might find just a pinion used but it is not a good idea to mix and match pinions and ring gears unless you don't mind redoing it again after they destroy themselves.
