Alright, i cant figure this one out to save me, it happens about twice a week, i will be driving and i push in the clutch to downshift and she will just die, it will restart just fine, no additional code, i just have the one i always have and that is secondary fuel pump circuit failure, this will happen weathert the CEL is on or off. once i was taking her from 4th to 3rd and i usually dont use the clutch to take it out of gear, the tach is about 700-1000 and the time, it wont come out of gear like it usually does, so then when i push in the clutch it dies, just wondering if anybody had any input on this

From the days of points and condensers that would indicate a weak ignition system. Hopefully there is more input from the forum.
