Husqrvana snow blower

utv winz KOH? did i hear that right?

Yeah, some shenanigans with the gate penalties. Crazy that you had a SFA car, a UFO chassis, and a UTV all in the top right at the end

Over the weekend I grabbed an old school toro for a song, pull start, runs strong, will probably run strong forever if I want. Worried about the valve guides on this new one, and don't want to have to depend on it. Going to get the valve moving this weekend and then I'll decided what to do with it probably.

See if you can shoot some penetrating oil on it and give it a few taps with a dead blow. Might have just picked up some condensation from sitting and will need a little run time to work it back to normal.

I think mine is a Toro from the 70's or 80's. Has a little Tecumseh engine. It's good for about a foot of snow which we almost never get. I'll never wear it out, those old ones run forever if they don't rust out or get thrown away because the carb clogged up.

That's exactly what I did, knocked the valve spring off accidentally, so I'll give it another try later this week, but I'm happy to have something cheap and reliable for now and can take my time. Hoping I can get the valve spring back on and get it freed up this week, get it running and then see how it goes.

At the time we had a forecast for 8" over two days, and my back dreaded that. Now of course it's down to 2"

Success!

Was surging a bit until I realized I forgot to reattach the spring on the throttle. Still a pain to start but it's a driver now
