Hub assembly change?

I have a 1999 with the PVH hubs. I need to replace both front axle assemblies as well as both hub bearing assemblies.
Will the 2003 year axles and hubs fit so I can eliminate the PVH setup which I had disabled a couple years ago because
of failure to operate properly. I have a 2003 ranger that works perfectly with the full time setup. Any one tried this change
