Ford Fusion seat swap?

The bench seat in my truck is disgusting and it won't recline,plus its really hard to adjust it forward. I know explorer seats will swap easily,so will escort,mustang,etc. But my buddy has a fusion and his seats are super comfy,so I was wondering if they would swap. Has anybody done this swap yet? Also if it is possible,how hard would it be to hook up the power adjustments?

I would think its fairly easy. That seat is also in the escape and focus, so its a common comfortable seat.

I have focus st seats in the garage to out in my ranger. Not the st3 recaros, the st1 cloth black and grey that look just like the escape seats but have st stitched in red. They match my red ranger colors exactly and since my son was going to get rid of them (his st came with the racaros but we got these super cheap as beater seats when he does army stufd and has to take his car all over), i told them i would take them to put in my cool guy ranger.

You can usually find these seats for about 100 bucks a set

To me this is the next best thing if I can’t find a full bench. Ones without the split are super hard to find

I tried fitting a first gen fusion seat and there was no way it was gonna fit in my 89 std cab without my knees, getting into the dash. Ext probably would have worked.

Yeah I thought that might be the case
Other option for me is a 200+mile drive to pick up a seat so I guess that’s the move for me haha
