I have a 2011 ford ranger 2.3l and i have a problem engine light that comes on. The code said low voltage to fuel pump. i have swapped out the pump 3 times now. I have disconnected the battery several times now but eventually the light comes back on. The truck starts up fine a little rough idle not bad. The engine will rev up for a few seconds then idles down to normal. The one problem i have is the wire connecor to the pump . The locking tab on the connector is broke and i used zip ties to hold it. The relay is fine .I swapped the relay with other switches same problem .i haven't replaced the fuel filter yet could that be the problem ? BTW i haven't been able to find a pig tail connector anywhere . Any advice Thanks

check the ground wire from the pump back to the chassis?

check the wires & connector at the inertia cut-off switch.
they like to get hot and corrode.
it's in front of the passengers right foot.

I will try that im running out of options Thanks
