Has anyone recovered their dash?

I believe that there is a thread on here about a member filling and refinishing a first gen dash pad, with good results. A "search" of this site would probably bring it up.

I remember reading that too. I'm going to try that on my pinto dash one day.

I bought a pre-fab dash cover for mine. I'm drawing a blank on what brand it was (CoverCraft, CoverKing, something to that effect).
There were a few challenges finalizing its fit (mostly getting the vent registers to look correct), but in the end it came out pretty decent (much better looking than the cracked dash underneath).
