Somewhat close to me there is a powertrax grip pro, which is a helical gear type limited slip for sale used for a decent price. Their literature doesn't specifically call out the ttb d35 as an application though, but I've currently got a worn out clutch type limited slip out of a jeep installed, so one would think it's compatible. Anyone ever install one of these in a d35 ttb? Are they a decent unit?

The only thing I can contribute to this, is that it sounds like a plan, and that there is some difference in side gears (1.5?? vs 1.6?? I think) around the 95 year. No idea how or if that would affect this application.

What’s the part number on the grip pro you’re looking at? I may have one in my basement that’s collecting dust.

As per usual with this truck, it's a grab bag of parts, it's a 95 axle with a diff from a 92, and a worn out clutch type limited slip from an 80s jeep, haha. It shouldn't affect this much, my main concern is whether or not it'll clear the housing, but that's a bridge I'll cross when I get to it.

The more current part number is GT443527 I ended up buying it anyway, as it was close to where family was vacationing at the time but 4 hours from me, so I just took the gamble. Dude was nice and said if I have any issues he'd refund money, which is rare these days.

Dang, that’s definitely what I’ve got.

Let me know if it works for you!

It'll be a bit, maybe early fall, gotta get the new cab on first, haha.
