BW 1354 help

Does anyone know if the ring gear from an early 4 pinion 1354 is the same as a later 6 pinion? Bought the t case off a guy and didn’t realize it was an early case till I tore into it. I’d assume it is but just hoping someone will verify.

One of those is a 1350 and the other a 1354, but the casting is the same except for where the front output goes. The back half casting on a 1354 Actually still has the same part number.

The 4 gear kinda looks like a little machine work would let you make an 8 if you wanted.

that looks like a 1350 and a 1354.

those are indeed different. the 1350 only came with 4.


the 1354 otoh.....has the same 6 sided carrier and gears whether 4 pinion or 6.

it is interchangeable
