I just finished the Breaking Bad series on Netflix. that is a great show. I tried watching it when it was running 10 years ago, but my Wife hated it, way too violent for her. So in the past few months I watched it after she went to bed. very well thought out, and you can see Walt turn into a monster through out the show, and in the end realizing most of the death and destruction left in his wake was his own fault. while a lot of his acts were not "made right" he did admit to his wife that he did it for selfish reasons, and did try to make a way for her and the kids after their lives were ruined by his decisions. .

May have to watch El Camino and Better Call Saul spinoffs...

AJ

It really is an amazing show. And there's a definite, deliberate arc over several seasons that leads to perceiving Walt as effectively irredeemable and Jesse as the victim.

BB is one of my all-time favorite series. I'd watch "El Camino" next. "Better Call Saul" is just as good as BB and might even turn out to be better after the final season. All have such great writing.

It is a pretty bad ass show. Even if the later episodes got a little bit far fetched for my taste.

What i thought was interesting was how in the beginning i liked walts character alot, and thought hank was a grade A douche. But as time went on i was cheering hank and wanting to see walt get his lol.

It is a great show. I enjoyed the sopranos overall more...but breaking bad is for sure #2

I never watched Breaking Bad, but I have been planning on it... I guess I’ll have to.

@rusty ol ranger My only issue with the Sopranos was how much of a whiny little drama queen AJ became in the final season.

He really did.

To the point he was annoying.

If you liked sopranos youll like breaking bad. Truely it was the wife that got me to watch either one as im not usually into those type of "have to watch every episode" type shows.

Walker texas ranger is the type of show i usually enjoy :ROFLMAO:

BB was great. I didn't get the hype while it was airing, but the wife and I watched it and El Camino. El Camino was a great wrap-up for Jesse. I'm like @rusty ol ranger , was pulling for Hank for a while. It was also great writing that turned Walt from the good guy trying to secure his Family's Future into the monster who "Get's the Phone Call". Haven't got into 'Better Call Saul' because Saul was the "McGuffin" that just fixed things with little to NO explanation. No 'one" lawyer can be that dirty, it would take a network of Shiesty lawyers to do the sh!t he pulled off.

I never cared for sauls own show. I did enjoy him for comedic value on breaking bad though.

One other person i couldnt stand on breaking bad was walts wife skylar. Other then providing some eye candy her character was shitty. IMO

Better call Saul starts a little slow... but it gets better as progresses. We're waiting on the last season... at least that's what the wife tells me.

I really liked Breaking Bad so I had high hopes for Better Call Saul...and was really disappointed. I watched the first couple seasons and gave up on it, it's almost unwatchably slow.

It was really a hard watch after Breaking Bad... we thought the same thing. Then ended up power watching it...

I was gonna recommend Better Call Saul. Its pretty good....and probably increased pimento sales.

FYI... Better Call Saul season 5 is on Netflix.

I forgot about this thread...good call. I haven't watched a Netflix show in so long, but will check this out. Nice revive.
