Durasparked my 85 BII, got it running. Still needs timing or something, but while adjusting the air/fuel, she quit running, let it sit 10 minutes and it fired up again, ran for a about a minute then quit again. Will not start now. Could this be the modulator?

I had a similar problem happen to me. Disconnect the spour (the connection you disconnect to set the timing... it comes off the distributor). Disconnect it and see if it fires up. If it does and you reconnect it while it's running, it should die. This would mean you have a bad computer. I did this and it works, if that is your problem. If you need a computer, or anything else, go to www.car-part.com. I got my computer for 20.00 2 years ago.
