When I got my Ranger, the kids had 50# in the BFG All Terrains. That would explain why it rode like a forklift.
I dropped it down to 40 and it seems to ride much better. How much pressure do you usually run in yours?

30-35 psi is optimal.

35psi with 235/75-16 Dunlop Mud Rovers on 15x7 rims.

Sweet! Thanks guys, guess I'll drop 5 more pounds.

i run 32 psi with 33 12.5 15's ive gone to 37 but on 8 inch rims its too balooned out

I have bfg a/t's, 31x10.5 R15s on the stock 15x7 rim. I ran 40 psi for most of the 40K miles I have put on them but I noticed very rapid tread wear on the inner portion of the tread and not very much on the corners.

I run 30 psi now and there is much more even tread wear, and it rides alot nicer.

When I worked at a tire shop we set everything but big trucks (3/4 ton and up) to 32 or 35 unless the owner specified otherwise. 30-32 will give you the best ride, just watch the edges of the tires for wear (inside and outside). If they start wearing faster than the middle then bump your air pressure up to 35

if you want your tires to last with decent mileage go 40. i was recommended no lesser then 38

mine are 31x12.5x15 tires. I run them at 30-32. Any higher and I notice the center of the tires wear out faster than the edges with these wide tires.
