Seems like a simple search would have answered it. There's a website offering a deal on the RD102 (Dana 35, 27spline 3.54+) but none of them mention anything about c-clips. The older models do, but they say they've all been replaced by the RD102. Does that mean the RD102 is all encompassing?

$890.35 with free shipping. But it ends tonight.

They have 2 choises for each model, but they don't say if one is for c-clips or not?

I'm running out of time to find the answer... :icon_surprised:

11pm rolled around, went and just picked one. Hopefully it's the right one.

E clip eliminator and it doesn't matter anyways.

I have one on my '84, not all that impressed with it really.

This one is only turning 235/75R15's by a 215k mile 4 cylinder. I doubt I'm going to be breaking anything, all 3 u-joints will also be done at the time of install.

I have the RD102 in mine. It accepts the E-clip, however I use an E-clip eliminator spring anyway.

It damn well better since that's the one I bought. That stupid thing is STILL sitting in the corner of my bedroom. Still trying to do the front brakes on my Saturn, but the GMC is running well, and hopefully I'll have the ability to actually pull the body off my donor Ranger for the 4x4 swap.

This is the link on ARB's website, the RD103 lists 3.31 and down, I know there's a break at that point and 3.55's use a different carrier than the (numerically) lower ratios (like 3.31), so I believe it'd be a safe bet that the RD102 will work.

right, it's the right one...
JCWhitney (if you call in) has them for $358... I just ordered one.

bumping an old thread.... the RD102 works with 4.56 gears right?

JCWhitney has them at an unheard of $377 right now!

The RD102 works for ALL gear ratios in the HP D35 TTB (the TTB does not use the carrier break like seen on Jeep rearends).

I'm betting that ad is a mistake... Cost is probably at least $600 on those things nowadays if I'm not mistaken (even the chinese air lockers that are out there sell for more than that). Let us know if you order one and if it actually goes through.

I ordered... One of my buddies called and ordered and they said it was a one day sale. Idk.

I'll update the other thread as it happens.
