So I've read a lot of threads here recomending both the high end NAPA wires, and Motorcraft, as well as NGK and some others. I've been through at least three sets of the NAPA premium wires since I've owned my Ranger (about four years). Swapping in another engine and pulling the wires, two of six contacts came off on the plugs. This is the singe reason why I've had to change these so many times. They're impossible to get off, not corroded at all. I'm wondering if its the great Chinese Enshitification of everything or if I'm doing something wrong. Wanted to eliminate my own dumb@$$ery before I try ordering another brand online. Thanks
Edit: I am death gripping these as close to the contact as I can get, not just yaking on the wires.

Bad luck? Got a set of plug wire pliers? Maybe it would help? What about dielectric grease?

Bad luck?
You've no idea how on point that is relative to this poor truck :shok: I haven't ever seen dielectric grease used on plug wires before, is that something I should be doing universally? Honestly not sure why I didn't think of that before.

I’ve used Dielectric grease on the plug wires for years.

Usually just buy Duralast anymore. Convenient and lifetime warranty. Rip a boot off or something and just send it back for another set

I concur, dielectric grease is key in my opinion. It aids in better contact and water displacement.
