Which Ford vehicle bumpers with built-in fog lights are a direct swap for a 99 Ranger XLT? I don’t want to attach aftermarket fog lights to my truck if there are other options.

I "think" every year had some sort of driving light option. You should also grab the factory switch too.

Have you tired searching your year? And are you wanting for an 89... or 99?

I'm not sure about the 89 but in 99 the factory fog lights were a 4x4 only option so a junk yard run would be the cheapest option.

On my truck I just bought a new 4x4 valance panel and new factory style refurbished lights to give it the factory look. Again I am unsure about the second generation valance with lights.

you could try the LMC Truck site for what was on each year. then source it where you choose.

I would like to thank you for introducing me to LMC Truck. It is an AWESOME site for (original) parts and modification parts.

If you haven't already, check out RockAuto.com to see if they have the parts also. I have found that they usually are cheaper for the same part. Sometimes LMC has those harder to get parts though.

Does your '99 front have the upper impact strips?
all of the 98-00 front bumper will have the recess formed into the bottom of the bumper which accommodates the foglights support.
The upper impact bumpers are getting hard to find, whichever bumper you do finally get do a test fit with it, the offshore chinese made items don't necessarily fit correctly.

Thanks for the info. I’ll check it out and let you know.

I mention the issue with the chinese supplied bumpers as I went thru that problem looking for a new replacement for my front bumper.

LMC truck is all chinese, no domestic made items (that's why their price is so low), received 2 bumpers from them, didn't fit, sent them back. Tried Amazon, received what was supposed to be a domestic piece (K-metal), turned out to be chinese as well, back it went.
Ended up having to find an original used Ford piece that was still in good shape, that took 2 years.

Update: I found a valance with holes for fog lights and I found a valance and fog light combination for a1998-2000 Ranger front bumper, both on Amazon. The price for the valance alone was $68 from the lowest priced vendor. Many vendors sold the same valance for different prices. The valance/fog light combo sells for $144 and I saw only one vendor offering that combo. There were several bumper/valance/fog light offers for $300-$400.

I’m going to order the valance/fog light combo so I’m sure they are compatible.
