I haven't posted in a while, but I need a little help...
This week the truck started running a bit rough, so I checked the engine codes and got:
P0715 - Input/Turbine Speed Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
P1443
P0402 - EGR Flow Excessive
P0761 (pending) - Shift Circuit C CKT Performance or Stuck Off
I've seen the P0402 code before and at the time had both the EGR valve and DPFE sensor replaced (this was about 5 years ago now) and it's popping up again. The others I've not seen.
The code book says P1443 a manufacturer specific code and from what I can tell from searching here it's a simple enough job to replace the parts (once it's warm enough to handle tools without getting frostbite). But the codes for P0715 and P0761 mean nothing to me at all. Anyone know anything about these two?
Oh, and an amusing discovery in all this, the code reader tells me I should have the CEL on, but I don't, otherwise I may have diagnosed this sooner.
Thanks.
