sorry if this been brought up but im still having trouble finding any resources.
85 ranger v6 2.8L where can i get a r134A compressor that fits? most im seeing either dont have the correct pulley or mounting. Also they seem to have 4 ports opposed to 2, are the extra two just service ports?

this looks like the original however the pulley i have is this style:

and this also has 4 ports, would this work?
everything else for the AC is there its just the compressor thats missing.

ive done more research, this looks like i possibly might be able to make it work, just depends if mounting brackets fit.

if anyone has a v6 with ac let me know

The 4 ports have a manifold that attaches to each side, then the hoses thread on to those. I bought this one from summit racing, and it did not come with these manifolds, I pulled those from a junkyard, it's the same ones on all the 80s rangers and B2s. I think that will be the case no matter where you buy it, but that is definitely the right compressor. It goes on to a set of brackets, one like a crescent moon and one like a triangle. My previous owner had removed these, so if you're in the same boat you'll have to find those also - I have pics of those in one of my posts. I'm also working on AC right now and I have bought the wrong suction and discharge lines for my 85 B2 2.8 that attach to the compressor, and haven't been able to find the right ones, so if you get a lead on that let me know haha :)
