hi guys I hope all is well.

I couldn't find a answer for my question on the forums so im hoping anyone can help me. I done goofed big time and I need a best guess on what to do.

im not a 4x4 I have only owned Hondas and fwd. anyways it snowed in colorado so I went to turn on the 4x4 on but I got the process messed up. I put the hubs from free into lock. then turned on the truck hit the 4x4 button on the dash and reversed twice to get the 4x4 to lock and be good but I didn't realize I needed to have the wheels set on free not lock and not have the button on. after I reversed and went to put in gear the clutch lost pressure and now the truck won't go in gear. the clutch still engages to start the truck but it won't go into gear. I tried putting it into free again and putting it in reverse but it grinds any time I try and won't go into any gear now. did I mess up the transmission?

Clutch and transfer case are two different systems. One getting messed up shouldn't affect the other. Pushing the clutch in should disengage the rest of the drivetrain from the engine no matter what.

You can jack up one front corner to release any binding in the driveline. If the truck still won't go into gear then you have a clutch problem, check the fluid level.
