I'm currently switching everything from my rusted out 1974 b2 to a 86 b2 so I originally had a 4 speed tk4 manual transmission and I found a fm146 for cheap and my plan is to put that in during the swap but I noticed that the fm is internal slave and the other is external I would like to keep the original because I just bought it last year I tried switching the front bearing retainer but the bearings is offset on the 4 speed please any help will be appreciated

Correction 1984 to a 1986
