3.27 to 4.11

Getting ready to install 4.11s in my 97 8.8. It has 3.27s in it now... Do I need to buy a different case to fit the 4.11s? If I wanted to go as low as 4.56 would I have to as well?

Same carrier, all ratios. 2.72 to 6.someting-or-other

awesome.. just checking because my old chevy 12 bolt needed a smaller case to run 4.11s. thanks
