3.0 stalls after going through puddles

Wading in 6" of water wouldn't cause a stall, driving into 6" of water at speed would cause water to splash into the engine bay fairly hard hitting the fan which soaks upper area of engine bay

OOOOOhhhhhh, I see. can he put a splash guard or cover over it so it doesn't get wet? Surely something of his is missing on his truck, because nobody else seems to have this problem with such a small amount of moisture.

I would hit the water going maybe 15mph, and I have a fan shroud, but it's 6" up the wheel

Had it happen again today, when it stalled out cel light was on, no oil pressure and would just crank. Had to tow home due to starter burning out and a really bad misfire.

Went through large puddles fine at around 10 mph, but I hit it at 15-20 and that's when it stalled out. Will put after photos of the rowdiness in a bit

So CEL was on which means computer stayed on, not PCM relay, or computer

No start after stall could be fuel pump, but you should get a code for that unless its a problem with the pump itself, which "water" shouldn't cause.
