My mom has an 07 Freestyle and the factory alarm goes off randomly. Last night it went off five times in the middle of the night and my neighbor's pissed at her! I have spayed all the door latches (including the liftgate) and disconnected the hood switch but that hasn't helped. I've searched the internet but can't find anything on how to disable the security system other than taking it in to the dealer; and some say that doesn't work because the system cannot be disabled! Does anyone have any other solutions other than pulling the horn fuse? Can anyone who works at Ford please look into this for me? Very much appreciated!
