I used a 2.3 crankshaft and welded a couple brake drums to it - made a nice bird bath. Have to take a pic of that sometime.

I always thought itd be cool to get a front grill/surround, lights, and bumper off a 73-77 F series or something else with a cool front end mount it all on a piece of wood and wire it so the lights light up and hang it up.

I've seen something similar in a guy's mancave. He used the front clip of a 1st Gen Escalade to make his bar. All the lights worked and he could even turn on the hazards.

A buddy had desk made with a front end from a BMW M3. He had me wire up all the lighting, but I refused to wire up the blinkers… because BMW.

I didn't know BMW installed blinkers on their cars. I've never seen one use them.

You know...as a truck driver...i can say it seems any vehicle made in the last 10 years lack them...and anything made before that has had them removed.

A month or so ago i was cruisin down I75 around lima ohio, loaded to about 79k gross...had a BMW pass me, cut me off, spike his brakes, and basically make a right turn off an exit. No signal. He got an airhorn...and i got a finger
