Hey guys, I got a 1999 3.0L V6 Automatic Ford Ranger. I was wondering what is the biggest tires I can run without dropping my tranny. It has a 3" Body lift. I plan on changing Crown and Pinion gears later on but not yet. What can I run for now?

235/75x15 or 30/9.50x15... essentially the same size tires. that's due to the relatively low power output of your 3.0, the auto tranny sucking up a fair amount of what power the motor does have, and assuming you have stock gearing of 3.45 or 3.73.

The 3.0L really hates bigger tires if you're not regeared. I'd probably suggest holding off on the bigger tires period until you have funds to get the ring & pinion gears swapped, otherwise it's gonna be a slug and guzzle fuel like no tomorrow.
