1994 4.0 upgrades

so i,ve seen a couple threads about bolt on mods for rangers but most deal with new rangers like 2000+ i was wondering if i could get some input on a 1994 4.0 i have a cat-back exhaust and thats basically it i dont need a whole lot of power i just enjoy working on my truck but i dont know what is really attainable in my driveway.

oh and if anyone suggests a k and n system do you know of one that uses a paper filter or a paper filter that will fit on it cuz i have the oil filter now and i want to go back to paper

the frame filter I think is oil free.
as for mods for your 94. MAS tbody injectors cam heads.
I have a 94 that was a fully build motor that I am getting ready to part out I may be able to help you out.

did the tb make a noticeable difference when you got it? i have heard that a bigger tb doesnt really make much of a difference
