Hello everyone, I am having a problem with my clutch slipping on my 94 ford ranger. Clutch, master cylinder, and fluid has been replaced and flywheel was resurfaced along with it. All the work was done by a trusted mechanic shop. The truck runs good for about 30-45 minutes then will begin to slip. The biting point of the clutch starts biting very high. It will get up to 65-75mph but I cannot accelerate hard on the truck without the clutch slipping. If I leave the truck to sit for a day or 2 it will not slip for the first 30-45 minutes until the cycle starts again.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any help is appreciated.

I had a master cylinder that would hold pressure and keep the slave cylinder compressed after about 2 clutch pedal depressions which was fun since I was like 400 miles from home at the time... so I used the pedal sparingly the rest of the way home...

In short I would blame the master cylinder.
