1988 bronco ii brake installation

Hi all, I was working on my car the other day and I noticed the guy that put on the flexible brake line cut the frame where the solid section of the flexible hose inserts into the frame. How concerned should I be, please see attached pictures. Sorry they are not the best.

If I should be concerned, should I just weld it?

I would not worry about it. The strength is in that turned up lip around the edge. I drew a imaginary line (yellow) lined up the with the lip top and bottom. You can see you have plenty of metal in the area that was cut, that matches the height of the lip on the rest of the bracket.
